I earned my Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Adler University, with an emphasis on Primary Care Psychology and Behavioral Health Medicine. My internship and postdoctoral fellowship were completed at New Connections Academy, a therapeutic day school catering to neurodivergent students, specifically those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My training spans various settings, including outpatient behavioral health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health centers.
In my clinical practice, I adopt a biopsychosocial approach to understanding human development and the origin and persistence of mental health issues. I believe in promoting holistic healing for each client, addressing physical, psychosocial, and cultural aspects while viewing them through a holistic lens. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Interventions, alongside insight-oriented and client-centered therapies.
Outside of my professional endeavors, you’ll often find me nurturing my garden or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Music and culinary delights never fail to bring me joy! Additionally, I have a profound passion for travel and am continuously expanding my list of dream destinations. If you share my love for exploring the world, why not exchange travel tales and perhaps even plan a mental vacation together?

I firmly believe that each person possesses an innate capacity for growth and self-awareness, and I am dedicated to exploring and nurturing that potential. Rooted in existential-integrative therapy, I create a compassionate space for self-discovery and personal growth. In my practice, I strive to offer a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where individuals can delve into their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and discovering the strength within.
My educational background includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-California School of Professional Psychology. Currently, I am pursuing a post-doctoral master’s in clinical psychopharmacology with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Sutter Center for Psychiatry, a not-for-profit psychiatric hospital within an integrated healthcare system. During my time at Sutter, I worked in various hospital settings, including the emergency department, inpatient medical floors, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and the inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
My clinical and research interests revolve around trauma, severe psychopathology, chronic medical conditions, and veterans’ mental health. I am a nationally registered health service psychologist with the National Register of Health Service Psychology and also serve as an adjunct professor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP).
Having served in the United States Air Force, I am passionate about supporting the military community. I have been appointed as a Secretariat Appointee on the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans and recently joined the Advisory Committee on Foreign POWs for the Department of Veterans Affairs. My dissertation focuses on Women Veteran Identity and Its Impact on VA Use. Additionally, I am actively involved in mental health advocacy and serve on the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of Illinois.

My approach is centered on you—your story, your values, and who you’re becoming. I believe healing is a journey of uncovering your most authentic self, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we unpack your past, make sense of the present, and move toward a future that feels more aligned and fulfilling. You get to set the pace. My job is to listen, support, and help you access the tools that feel right for you.
I became a therapist because I’ve seen how unhealed pain, trauma, and stress can hold people back from living the lives they want. I believe no one is meant to walk through that alone. Therapy can be a place of discovery, freedom, and transformation—and I feel deeply honored to be part of that process with my clients.
In our work together, I use a blend of evidence-based approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I also like to use metaphors and analogies to help break things down in a way that makes healing tools more practical and easier to apply in everyday life.
I work with adults, teens, couples, families, and older adults, and I’m especially passionate about supporting the BIPOC community. My areas of focus include life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and identity development. I especially love working with clients who are trying to reconnect with who they are and how they want to show up in the world.
To me, therapy is a partnership. You don’t have to have all the answers, and you’re not expected to “fix” anything overnight. I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make the changes that matter most to you.

I am currently earning my Master of Social Work and expect to graduate in August 2026. I am interested in working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I am grateful to be training under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Kailyn Bobb and Dr. Michele Sitorus.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassionate, person-centered care. I believe that clients are the experts of their own lived experiences, and I value collaboration, curiosity, and non-judgment in the therapy space. I use a strengths-based and mindful framework to support clients in feeling more connected to themselves, empowered in their choices, and supported in their growth.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-doubt, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and burnout. Together, we focus on building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and developing tools that support emotional balance and resilience.
What often sets my work apart is my integration of mind–body awareness within a warm, nurturing, and relational style of therapy. I place a strong emphasis on emotional safety and comfort, recognizing how important it is to feel regulated and supported throughout the healing process.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. Many of the clients I support experience racing thoughts, heightened stress, or difficulty regulating emotions and are seeking ways to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control of their lives. I value the process of growth and self-understanding and would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.

I became a therapist because I have seen firsthand how mental health challenges can impact people’s lives and hold them back from becoming who they want to be. From a young age, I felt drawn to helping others navigate difficulties and find ways to move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and balance.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of concerns. My clinical background includes working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders (including bipolar disorder), Autism Spectrum Disorder, substance use concerns, family and relationship challenges, marital stress, self-esteem issues, and parenting difficulties. I enjoy supporting clients as they develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier patterns in their lives and relationships.
One thing that stands out about my work is that I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I tailor my work to each individual’s situation, strengths, and goals, drawing from evidence-based practices while remaining flexible and responsive to what each client needs. My primary therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I also integrate strategies from other therapeutic models when helpful.
I work with adults, couples, and children and adolescents ages 8–17. My primary areas of focus include ADHD, mood disorders, and couples work. I strive to create a supportive, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take steps toward greater well-being.

I offer a supportive, empathetic, and creative space where we can work together to better understand your experiences and move toward meaningful change.
I work with adults who are motivated for growth and open to self-reflection, especially those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, social anxiety, relationship challenges, and issues related to self-esteem or identity.
Many of my clients come in feeling stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand—and are ready to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.
My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and a strong body-mind lens.
I believe that healing doesn’t only happen through words, so I also incorporate movement and creative expression when helpful and aligned with your comfort level.
Together, we’ll identify patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to support your goals—while also creating space for deeper emotional processing.
Clients often describe me as supportive, curious, and gently direct. I value making meaningful connections in therapy and helping you understand not just what you’re experiencing, but why—so that change feels intentional and sustainable.
Whether you’re working through past experiences or navigating current challenges, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself, strengthen your coping, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
